Brady's Big 3-0!!!

Brady is 30!!!
We started off the celebrations with the Lion King.

Next we had family dinner with the Barker Family.
Look carefully at their expression. Exactly the same. I know what Brady will look like when we get older! So glad Gramps made it to the party.
.
RB & LB made his Sunday dinner special. Burgers were Brady's choice for dinner.
Cody & Brooke gave him this awesome shirt.
We topped it all off on the real day with a Surprise Party!!!

His favorite dessert, Nana's Eclair Dessert.

The kids loved the pinata, but Brady got a turn too.

Happy 30th Brady Jay!

Camping

Before the camping story. A few weekends ago Brady was out of town for work so I decided to have my niece and nephew over for a sleepover. Aren't they just the cutest things ever? We ate dinner at McDonald's (his favorite), rode tracks to temple square, played in the fountains, watched playhouse disney and ate lots of popsicles. They were a blast.
I was at work Friday and Brady called me and said we were going camping. He got all the gear ready, found dutch oven recipes, packed up the car and we were off as soon as I got home from work. After a little drive up past Kamas we were worried we weren't going to find a spot, but found this great one! It was so much fun!
Brady made dinner for all of us.
Our camp

Campfire and s'mores.
Cody found a little fire wood.
It was so beautiful up there. I think these look like engagement pics. Ha.
Cody and Brooke.
Our site was just feet from the water.
Brooke and I were so proud of ourselves because we set up the tent (while the boys got dinner ready)

Wolf Creek with the Barkers

This year we headed to Wolf Creek for the Barker family vacation. We boated, road the crazy "hog", golfed, swam and spent a lot of time chasing little kiddies.

The boys
and the girls.
The whole clan.
At the lake.
Brooke added to the matching suits this year.
He loved the wave runners and would fall asleep almost every time.
Look at that air.
Lived up to the name again for another year! Thanks RB & LB for the memories.

One Year

Brady Jay and I celebrated our one year anniversary this past weekend. What an amazing year.
We headed up near Deer Valley for the weekend.
Look at that view.
This is the actual day.
Oh, and this one. My sisters and a couple of their friends, my mom and I went to "Eclipse" the day it opened. Yes we did. And I liked it.
(Guess I should read the books now)

Welcome Summer. . .

We headed to St. George for a needed break over memorial day weekend. . .
This was so gorgeous. We hiked up to Hidden Pinion in Snow Canyon.
And learned a lot about the plants from the brochure. I want a Banana Yucca.
RB, LB and B&B
Perfect weather. Why does my face look orange?

Look at those golfers! Can you tell a difference in our swings?

This is how many pairs of shoes Cody and Brooke brought, seriously.
Earlier this year we ran a 5K - a big deal for me (I'm not what you would call an avid runner).
I planted a couple things. . .the flowers are doing well, different story for the basil!
