First Christmas

What a Christmas! Here are a few pics to show what we've been up to.
Christmas morning.
Brady figuring out the new camera.
All the Barker's on Christmas Eve
Bryn, Linda and Sage

RB & LB bought maps from us for all the couples this year.
Middlemiss house Christmas day! Santa hired out Earl to give the kids their fun little gifts from the gunny sack. Here is Porter hoping he gets a ball. He's obsessed!
Grandma and Grandpa gave Katie all five Backyardigans. She loves them so much! She carried around her little bag of five and would take each out one by one and tell you all their names. She did this with Brady like seventy five times throughout the day.
My parents.
Me and my mom
My parents gave Christian, the one in the white t, a gecko for Christmas. At first he was a little timid to hold it, but can't get enough of it now.
Th Middlemiss girls, minus Dana.

Myles just sat on the couch sucking on his blanket and watching football with Brady for so long this day.

The 8th Annual Egg Nog Knocker!
Too lazy to go and change this pic and start over on the post. Brady and Spence earn the creepy man award for the Egg Nog Knocker.
The men
The women
Really? Yep, gotta love these outfits!
What a fun Christmas! We loved seeing all our out of town friends and spending time with our families as we celebrated our Savior's birth and life.

We Love Christmas!!!

Last night we went to Dan Peck's annual Christmas Bash! We headed up to Bountiful to his wife's parents place way up on the mountain side. It was a beautiful home and we had great food. White elephants, creepy outfits and the prom pic definitely were the highlights of the night! Not to mention Coulam's rendition of "The Mormon Rap!"

I do have to say this about Brady. He can take the ugliest clothes, do his hair like this (you can't see it too well, but it's slicked down flat against his head with gel and hairspray), and pull it off like a champ! He can make anything look good!

The creepiest picture ever. Could you imagine what you would think if you didn't know these two?
Mary in the sweet white elephant gift Brady found.

So, Brady found a tape, yes a tape, of the "Mormon Rap." Matt ended up with it which I find very fitting since he looked like a Bishop at the Ward Christmas Party! May I add, he sung a sweet rendition of the song.
Our prom pic.
The white elephant gift we got!

Do Your Feet Hurt?

When you ski do your feet hurt? I have the solution! Go see my dad and brother at their store. They specialize in boot fitting for ski boots and making your feet feel great whatever your sport or activity. I was there this past week and saw some awesome stuff. For those of you who don't know, my parents own a ski shop called The Sport Loft. They are having a giveaway right now that anyone can enter! It's a whole basket full of goodies like gloves, goggles, hand warmers and cool ski gear. All you have to do is enter the drawing by going to the store and checking it out!
P.S. From personal experience, they really can FIX ANY FEET PROBLEMS! They fixed mine!

THANKSGIVING

We are so lucky to have our families live so close to each other! We were able to go to both families houses for Thanksgiving. We have so much for be grateful for at this time of our lives. Here I am with my mom (I am amazed how young she still looks!!!), my beautiful little sis Tam and my Aunt JoAnn (my mom's sister). Mom, thanks for the delicious meal. She had like every variety of food you could want. . .ham & turkey. . .mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and funeral potatoes. . .to name a few options! We are so grateful for you and dad. Love you!
I was in the other room when this fiasco happened. Not pictured is the culprit(Cody), who got Brady good! Poor Ali had to get her hair all wet to get the mess out. Hey, makes for good memories though.
Here we are with a few Barker/Bohling famliy members. We played games and watched lots of football, of course! We played catch phrase for like an hour straight. By the end I don't think anyone of us we were aware of what was going on, just guessing every name no matter whose team. I do have to mention I picked a name no one would guess for "The name game." I put Austin Collie and was the second to last out!
Brady with the remains of his little whip cream fight. The kids made these cute turkeys, we just held them so we would know what holiday this pic was from.

HEAVEN
Austie and Jakie ended up on my lap watching "Ooh-ahh" aka Mickey Mouse on Brady's phone at the end of the night. Brades is behind me with Sage on his lap. We love all these little guys. We are so grateful for our families.

Halloween

Brady & Myles at the end of the night. Myles scarfs down bananas!
The Barker girls. Linda did the annual Halloween fun get together. Chili and scones are the food highlight of Halloween for us!
Cody as MJ. . .creepy is how to describe it. He looked way too much like the real thing.
We dressed up at work too! Look at my boss in the middle. She was the swine flu. Everyone was so fun that day with their costumes.
