BRONCHITIS

I finally convinced him to go to the doctor

Mind you. . .it's been 3 weeks of incessant coughing

and other yucky symptoms

But that cough syrup they gave him is magic

He finally slept well through the night!

Combined with the antibiotics

I'm sure he'll be back to his healthy self in no time!

I'm so grateful for the knowledge we have about illnesses and medications that help them. Being a nurse has really helped my testimony grow. . .seriously!

Sun Valley Woes

Brady had to go to Sun Valley for work
He left Sunday morning
While it was snowing
Before I left to church
I sat in sacrament meeting and cried
Yes, I cried. . .an hour after he left
Because I miss him.

Cough

This is how my night went last night.

Put away groceries (Brady did the shopping, what a sweetie), bake, do dishes, bake more, more dishes, make dinner, more dishes, bake more, more dishes. I sure love to cook. Really.

Go to bed early,

cause I had to be to work at 7:30.

Wake up to. . .

Cough.

Cough, cough, cough.

Silence.

Rustle.

Get up. Cough, cough, cough.

Move to the couch.

Hum of the. . .what is that hum?

Cough, cough, cough.

Almost asleep, I think I'm dreaming.

Nope. . . cough, cough, cough.

My poor husband.

Don't know if he slept a wink with all his coughing.

Luckily I can sleep through almost anything.

Brady Jay. . .I'm sorry I got you sick.

Las Vegas Weekend

Last week Brady surprised me with a weekend getaway to Las Vegas and tickets to "O." It was so nice to get out of the cold. We shopped, ate yummy food, toured the awesome hotels, went to the Coca-Cola factory, the M & M factory and went to the show! "O" was seriously the most amazing show. I have never seen anything like it! If you haven't seen it, I say it's a must. And, of course, we went to what we decided is our favorite place to eat in Vegas, Bahama Breeze. I didn't seem to get around to taking pics of us though!

The Aria had this little chocolate/cake shop that make mini wedding cakes. They were like 2 inches tall. So cute!

This is a restaurant inside the City Center shopping area. So incredible.

Oh, and we went out on a date night at Bonsai with my family the other weekend. I had never been there and the food was so delicious!

6 Months

Six months. . .

New Year 2010 & Date Night

We had date night with the Barkers.

We played Mario cart.

I have to concentrate really hard.

New Year's Eve

We played the Wii.

We ate calzones. Cody & Brooke.
